Amazon CXO Retail Associate

Job Type: Part-time (12hrs weekly)

Contract Type: Permanent and Fixed Term Contract

Pay Rate: 13.85/hr

Location: London Borough of Islington

Availability Requirements: Candidates must be available to work four (4) days per week, with shifts scheduled between Sunday and Saturday. All work hours will fall between 8:30 AM and 9:30 PM on your available days. You will be required to provide flexibility within this schedule.

Who are you?

As a Counter+ Retail Associate, you will be the face of Amazon and contribute to a store culture based on customer obsession, trust, continuous learning, and fun. You will be an integral part of creating a culture in store where yourself and your fellow colleagues are excited to come to work and deliver exemplary customer service. You adhere to and maintain regular and punctual attendance, safety and quality standards and follow standard processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.

You are flexible while working in an ambiguous environment with strong attention to detail, possess the ability to quickly prioritise tasks, multi-task, and a commitment to delighting our customers.

Key job responsibilities

Some of your duties may include:
  • Act as the point of contact for customers on the shop floor, deliver excellent customer service and always act with a customer-first mindset when answering customer questions
  • Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns and prepare for delivery
  • Assist customers with questions and queries
  • Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace
  • Manage responsibilities for a Counter+ location, including opening and closing the counter
  • Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan and prepare orders
  • Receive parcel/package deliveries
You’ll also need to be able to:
  • Work in a physical role in which you will be required to stand and walk during your shift, as well as lift and move products up to 23kg in weight
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks and other equipment to move items around
  • Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
  • Flexibility is required to support the business at busier times, holidays and absences at short notice A day in the life
