POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our Hutchinson team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests while preparing beverages and taking orders. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where multitasking, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, seating them promptly and providing menus

Take accurate food and beverage orders, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Old Chicago standards and recipes

Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly

Process payments accurately and efficiently using our POS system

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining area, and service station

Work collaboratively with kitchen and bartending staff to ensure smooth operations

Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy

Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations

Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues when needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid food handler's certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Current TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) or similar alcohol server certification (or willingness to obtain)

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food service, bartending, or server roles preferred, but we train enthusiastic candidates

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure

Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Available for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge of craft cocktails and/or beer is a plus

Genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
