Business Development Executive - Outside Sales

You will be the alternative point of contact for customer sales, daily inquiries and business concerns. You will focus on the growth of the Medisca brand! The BDE builds and strengthens customer relationships, increases sales within the assigned territory and provides excellent service to customers and prospect new accounts. This role will have a focus on both animal and human compounding.\</p> <p><strong>Territory: North Carolina and Kentucky</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Candidate <span>must </span>be based in North Carolina or Kentucky.</strong></p> <p><strong>The opportunity:</strong></p> <p>New Business Development</p> <ul> <li>Search for potential clients, visit medical complexes and physicians / health care professionals and obtain referrals</li> <li>Identify pharmacies (non-compounders / compounders) and successfully convert their business to Medisca</li> <li>Increase Medisca’s share of existing accounts</li> <li>Leverage existing health care compounding prescribers to increase Medisca's brand</li> <li>Identify health care professionals and educate them on compounding to increase scripts</li> <li>Encourage collaboration between physicians, pharmacists and Medisca</li> </ul> <p>Maintaining Existing Accounts & Relationship Building</p> <ul> <li>Attain monthly sales objectives and monitor profit margins</li> <li>Analyze territory trends and identify opportunities</li> <li>Regularly track and increase pharmacist business</li> <li>Follow up with customers on sales and product availability – Inbound and outbound phone/email</li> <li>Suggesting new revenue sources and products</li> <li>Ensure clients data and calls are kept relevant and current in systems</li> <li>Proactively following up with clients to ensure that they always have the support they need</li> </ul> <p>Generate Sales from Inactive & New Customers</p> <ul> <li>Cold call prospective customers & determine opportunities to create business</li> <li>Research new potential client options & follow up on referrals from existing clients</li> <li>Open new accounts & support onboarding</li> </ul> <p>Work collaboratively with the Account Executive</p> <ul> <li>Discuss existing accounts with the Account Executive & strategize on how to increase business</li> <li>Inform the Account Executive of planning cycle to maximize synergies and account contact</li> <li>Provide leads and referrals to visit</li> </ul> <p>Travel</p> <ul> <li>Client visits, tradeshows, training and etc…</li> <li>This role is for a ‘road warrior’ who will be visiting customers 80% of the time, with some travel away (flights, hotels, and driving).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills, knowledge and abilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>College or University degree.
