Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a results-driven E-commerce Data Analyst to join our growing team in Chennai. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming raw product and sales data into actionable insights that will drive business decisions, optimize online performance, and enhance customer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product management, to deliver insights that directly impact revenue growth and product success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze product performance, online sales data, customer behavior, and pricing trends to support decision-making for our e-commerce platform.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for regular tracking of KPIs.

  • Provide actionable insights through data mining, statistical analysis, and forecasting models.

  • Work with the marketing and product teams to evaluate promotional campaign success and suggest optimization strategies.

  • Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure data integrity across systems.

  • Monitor conversion rates, A/B test outcomes, cart abandonment, and product page performance.

  • Track and report on ROI of marketing channels and sales funnels.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement data collection improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying large datasets.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation and data storytelling.

  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) is a strong advantage.

  • Ability to communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods environment.

  • Prior exposure to sales performance tracking, funnel analysis, or product analytics will be considered a plus.

  • Freshers with strong academic projects or internships in e-commerce analytics may also apply.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

  • Occasional flexibility required based on reporting deadlines or project cycles.

  • Work Location: Chennai Office (Hybrid model available after 3 months based on performance)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong statistical and analytical thinking.

  • Ability to derive business value from complex data sets.

  • Knowledge of customer journey mapping and sales funnel analysis.

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and digital marketing metrics is a bonus.

  • Time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
