Job Description


What you will do:

The Engineering Lab Intern will work on the Engineering Lab team that is part of the Bosch Home Comfort Group. In this division, we design, test, manufacture and assemble heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment for the light commercial and residential markets. This is an opportunity to work in our brand new, state-of-the-art laboratory!

How you will do it:

  • Manage parts inventory for prototype test unit builds. This includes ordering, stocking, and kitting parts for upcoming builds.
  • Develop new lab processes for improved efficiency.
  • Assist with scheduling test stations.
  • Assist with finished goods inventory in the lab.
  • Follow established safety procedures and help drive a safety culture in the lab.

Qualifications


Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Project Management or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  • Ability to lift equipment, compressors, motors, sheet metal parts etc. (up to 50 pounds)
  • Experience working in a project group or team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
  • SAP experience. (desired)
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems. (desired)
