Job Summary

IndiGo Airlines is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our Airport Operations & Customer Services (AO&CS) team as an Executive specializing in Catering & Customer Services. In this customer-facing and logistics-intensive role, you will ensure seamless coordination between flight catering, in-flight service teams, and ground staff to uphold IndiGos world-class service standards. You will play a critical part in enhancing passenger satisfaction and operational efficiency at the airport level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all catering-related activities, including timely dispatch and offloading of food and beverage items.

  • Ensure proper stock management of catering supplies and maintain hygiene and quality control measures.

  • Liaise with flight kitchen units, ground handling staff, and airline crews to ensure flawless in-flight service preparation.

  • Assist passengers with queries related to meals, seating, and customer service before boarding.

  • Resolve real-time catering or customer service issues on-ground, with a focus on punctuality and service excellence.

  • Prepare shift-wise reports and maintain documentation in line with internal audit and compliance protocols.

  • Monitor vendor performance and support service-level agreement (SLA) management for catering partners.

  • Follow all airport safety, security, and regulatory guidelines in coordination with aviation authorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (any stream preferred); aviation, hospitality, or supply chain management background is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and one regional language.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.

  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure scenarios in a fast-paced airport environment.

Experience

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in aviation, airline catering, customer service, or logistics.

  • Freshers with relevant internships or hospitality certifications are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Rotational shifts based on airport operations (including weekends and public holidays).

  • Shifts may range from early morning to late night depending on flight schedules.
