Job Summary

IndiGo Airline is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and safety-conscious individuals for the role of Executive – Security / AO&CS to join our ground operations team. This entry-level airport position is crucial for ensuring a safe and seamless experience for passengers. You will be responsible for managing airport security protocols and assisting in various customer service tasks as part of our Airport Operations & Customer Services (AO&CS) team. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in aviation with one of Indias leading airlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor security measures in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies

  • Conduct security screening of passengers, baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and manual checks

  • Assist passengers during check-in, boarding, and baggage handling

  • Coordinate with airport and airline stakeholders for smooth flight operations

  • Ensure compliance with safety and security standards laid down by DGCA and BCAS

  • Respond to security incidents and passenger queries professionally and promptly

  • Manage access control and surveillance around the terminal and apron area

  • Maintain records and prepare reports related to daily security operations

  • Provide support to other departments during flight disruptions or emergencies

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduation in any stream from a recognized university

  • Excellent communication skills (English and Hindi mandatory)

  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, data entry systems)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset

  • Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods

  • Willingness to work in shifts and outdoor airport environments

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle security scenarios tactfully

Experience

  • Freshers are welcome to apply

  • Prior experience in airport security, aviation, or customer service will be considered an advantage

Working Hours

  • Rotational shifts across weekdays, weekends, and holidays
