Job Summary

As a Field Sales Executive at Flipkart, you will be the face of our organization in your region, responsible for driving regional sales, onboarding new vendors, and building strong partnerships with local businesses. Your role will directly contribute to the growth of Flipkarts e-commerce ecosystem by expanding our marketplace footprint and enabling sellers to succeed through strategic guidance and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new vendors and sellers across your assigned region.

  • Promote Flipkarts marketplace platform and its benefits to potential partners.

  • Provide orientation and support to new sellers regarding Flipkart policies, product listing, pricing, order processing, and payment cycle.

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing concerns and resolving operational issues.

  • Conduct regular field visits and market research to identify new business opportunities and competitor activities.

  • Ensure vendor satisfaction through timely follow-ups, performance reviews, and support interventions.

  • Work closely with regional operations teams to align sales goals with supply chain logistics.

  • Track performance metrics and report daily/weekly activities and sales growth to the regional manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language.

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.

  • Good understanding of retail or e-commerce dynamics.

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory regularly.

Experience

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in field sales, vendor onboarding, or business development, preferably in e-commerce, FMCG, or retail industries.

  • Freshers with a strong passion for sales and regional business development are also encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • 6 Days a Week (Monday to Saturday)

  • Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

  • Flexible hours based on field work and vendor meetings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • High level of ownership, initiative, and result-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to build trust and manage long-term vendor relationships.

  • Comfortable with using smartphones, sales apps, and CRM tools.

  • Knowledge of local market, vendor landscape, and customer behavior is a big advantage.
