Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelancer to design and develop personal portfolios for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design and development, with the ability to translate individual branding and professional achievements into visually compelling and functional portfolio websites. This is a freelance, remote opportunity that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver projects on time with high quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their personal brand, goals, and portfolio requirements.

  • Design custom portfolio layouts that highlight client achievements, skills, and experiences.

  • Develop responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing portfolio websites using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms, etc.).

  • Optimize portfolio sites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Incorporate multimedia elements such as images, videos, and animations to enhance portfolio appeal.

  • Ensure all portfolio designs align with current design trends and client expectations.

  • Provide ongoing support and updates to clients portfolios as needed.

  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in web design and development, particularly portfolio or personal branding websites.

  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular CMS platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace.

  • Excellent graphic design skills, including proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools.

  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
