In this role, you'll own complex EDI integration projects from kickoff to go-live — serving as the primary point of contact for customers and delivering solutions that keep global supply chains moving.</p> <p>As an Implementation Specialist II, you'll manage projects independently, guide customers through complex onboarding steps, and ensure successful deployments with confidence and precision. This is a unique hybrid role that blends implementation and integration work, giving you broad visibility into how trading partners, ERPs, and EDI systems interact — and the chance to build deep expertise in a specialized, high-demand space.</p> <p>We value our employees with competitive benefits and generous paid time off packages, flexible and casual work environments, career development, recognition programs, and more!</p> <p>This role is a remote opportunity (US-based, East Coast hours preferred).</p> <p> </p> <h2><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Lead software implementation for mid-size EDI integration projects within the B2B Gateway platform</li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation, managing the full project lifecycle from intake through go-live with greater autonomy</li> <li>Manage a portfolio of 20–30 concurrent projects and clients with minimal supervision, completing a minimum of 5 projects per month</li> <li>Coordinate activities across customers, trading partners, and internal teams — including the mapper team — to ensure timely delivery</li> <li>Facilitate EDI and integration testing, including troubleshooting mapping changes through our in-house project management system</li> <li>Configure solutions to meet nuanced business requirements and validate functionality for Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers</li> <li>Conduct phone calls and facilitate weekly or bi-weekly customer status meetings</li> <li>Proactively identify and resolve implementation issues; escalate only when necessary</li> <li>Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely project completion</li> <li>Prioritize tasks effectively to meet customer expectations and aggressive timelines</li> <li>Provide proactive status updates and maintain accurate project data in our project management tools</li> <li>Assist in mentoring Level I specialists and contribute to process improvements based on hands-on experience</li> <li>Flex into the support queue during low-volume implementation periods to support the broader team</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Requirements for Success:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience</li> <li>2–4 years of experience in EDI implementation, technical support, or client onboarding</li> <li>Advanced understanding of EDI concepts and trading partner requirements</li> <li>Experience with ERP business systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with a strong sense of ownership from start to finish</li> <li>Excellent customer-facing communication skills — comfortable on the phone, in email, and leading customer meetings</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle a high volume of active projects</li> <li>High sense of urgency, initiative, and accountability</li> <li>Familiarity with EDI providers such as TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, Orderful, or similar highly customizable integration platforms is a strong plus</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Perks & Benefits:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Remote-first and casual work environment</li> <li>401(k) with 3.5% company match, vested after 2 years</li> <li>20 PTO days + 1 birthday day off + 1 volunteer day + 11 company holidays</li> <li>Medical, dental, vision, and other life/health insurance plans</li> <li>Paid parental leave</li> <li>Wellness reimbursement program</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Who is TrueCommerce?</strong></h2> <p>TrueCommerce is a high-performing global supply chain network that provides fully integrated, end-to-end supply chain visibility and management.
