Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is hiring skilled and motivated Injection Moulding Operators to join a leading plastic manufacturing factory. This is a hands-on, shift-based role responsible for operating injection moulding machines, ensuring consistent production quality, and maintaining machine efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, experience in plastic moulding processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor injection moulding machines for efficient production runs.

  • Load raw materials and ensure moulds are correctly installed and aligned.

  • Inspect finished plastic components for quality, consistency, and defects.

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to prevent downtime.

  • Adjust machine settings, temperatures, and cycles as needed.

  • Report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities to the maintenance team.

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

  • Complete production logs and maintain accurate records of output and waste.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10th Pass or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Plastic Engineering.

  • Ability to read and follow basic machine operation manuals and instructions.

  • Basic knowledge of safety standards in a factory environment.

  • Understanding of plastic moulding processes and machine settings.

  • Physically fit and capable of lifting materials or standing for long periods.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of prior experience as an Injection Moulding Operator in a plastic manufacturing setup is preferred.

  • Freshers with relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in moulding may also apply.

Working Hours

  • Shift-Based Work: Rotational shifts (Morning, Evening, and Night).

  • Each shift will be 8 to 9 hours long with weekly off on rotation.

  • Overtime may be applicable based on production demands.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in operating different models of injection moulding machines.

  • Familiarity with troubleshooting minor machine issues.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

  • Time management and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
