Lead Data Analyst - Pest Digital

About the position

Ecolab Digital is seeking a business focused lead data analyst to unlock the value in data assets through a deep understanding and interconnection of the Pest business. In this role, you will collaborate with digital product innovation teams, marketing and sales counterparts to develop and deliver ad hoc and sustained analytics solutions related to digital and business offerings. You will be working with the Pest business helping in their transformation from Pest Elimination to Pest Intelligence go-to-market. Position Details Location: The desired location for this role is St. Paul, MN with a hybrid schedule. Travel: Up to 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define opportunities aligned to Pest business challenges, navigating a wide range of problems and solution approaches.
  • Drive experimentation and delivery of analytics intelligence & innovation aligned to the overall digital product vision and marketing transformation.
  • Work within an agile global AI & Analytics focused team.
  • Network and collaborate with a broad range of internal business stakeholders to link and translate business strategy / VOC to technical opportunities, innovation build and lifecycle management.
  • Provide clear, consistent communication and presentation to various product stakeholders.
  • Utilize an extensive foundation of analytical approaches to bring creativity, quality and drive insights for business decisions, digital success, and customer outcomes.
  • Nimbly investigate data, performance diagnostics, and curate historical context related to data and analysis approaches to support cross-functional decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Math, Statistics or related field with an emphasis on analytics or no degree and 12 years combined education and equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of experience in progressive analyst roles
  • 5 years’ experience in Python and SQL for data manipulation, querying and analysis
  • 5 years’ experience of building dashboards in Power BI or similar technologies
  • 3 years’ experience of gathering requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master’s degree in Data Analytics or related field
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, effectively partnering and delivering results to a broad spectrum of stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, embracing change and challenging the status quo
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into actionable analytical solutions
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Azure Suite, including Databricks
  • Working knowledge of DevOps, git, Snowflake
  • Experience in consulting and/or customer-facing analytics
  • Well-developed business acumen
