Responsibilities

  • Implement procedures to mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Investigate accidents and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Mentor and train EHS technicians and frontline staff.
  • Collaborate with operators and leaders to enhance safety protocols.
  • Maintain safety documentation and regulatory reporting.
  • Analyze and monitor trends in workplace injuries and illnesses to drive improvements.
  • Support safety program implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in EHS or related field, with a strong understanding of worker safety
  • Experience working with safety management systems and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for building local and global relationships.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and strategic safety initiatives.
  • Capacity for analysis and problem-solving with a strategic vision.
  • Experience in incident investigation and regulatory reporting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in Lean Manufacturing and safety improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance processes and sustainability practices.
  • Experience in new safety program introduction and innovation.
  • Basic understanding of human and organizational performance concepts.
