Local Content Creator & Coordinator - Nashville 10

Location: Nashville, TN

Compensation: $50/hour (contract), 30 hours/week

Team: Marketing / Social

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Apartment List is looking for a Nashville-based creator to build a strong local presence in one of the country's fastest-growing cities.

This role is equal parts content creator, city guide, and social media builder. You'll be the face of our Nashville social channels, creating content that helps renters explore neighborhoods, discover apartments, and understand what it's really like to live in the city.

You'll stand up and run Apartment List's Nashville Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook accounts, create local content about renting and city life, and collaborate with influencers and our national social team to grow awareness in the market.

What You'll DoCreate local social content

You'll be responsible for producing content that brings Nashville's neighborhoods and rental lifestyle to life.

This includes:

  • Filming and producing short-form video for TikTok and Instagram
  • Highlighting available apartments and neighborhood walkthroughs
  • Creating content about renting in Nashville, local housing trends, and renter tips
  • Showing the lifestyle and culture that make Nashville unique
Be the face of our Nashville channels

You'll appear on camera regularly and help audiences connect with Apartment List through a relatable local voice.

This includes:

  • Hosting tours and walkthroughs
  • Interviewing renters or property teams
  • Sharing local insights about neighborhoods and living in Nashville
Grow our local social presence

You'll experiment with different types of content and track what resonates with renters in Nashville.

Your success will be measured by:

  • Video views
  • Audience engagement
  • Follower growth
  • Traffic driven to Apartment List
Partner with local creators and influencers

You'll help identify and collaborate with Nashville creators who can help expand our reach.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying local influencers and creators
  • Helping shape content concepts for collaborations
  • Coordinating content with Apartment List's team

We provide a monthly influencer and promotion budget to help amplify content.

Collaborate with the national social team

You'll work closely with Apartment List's national social media team to share insights and align on brand strategy.

This includes:

  • Attending weekly social team meetings
  • Repurposing national content for a Nashville audience
  • Sharing learnings about what works locally

Who You Are

You're a creator who loves Nashville and understands the city's neighborhoods, culture, and rental market.

You're comfortable on camera and excited to experiment with content ideas that resonate with renters.

Requirements
  • Must currently live in Nashville
  • At least 2 years of experience creating social media content
  • Comfortable appearing on camera
  • Strong video editing and storytelling skills
  • Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video trends
  • Organized and able to manage a content calendar independently
  • Passion for city living, neighborhoods, and housing
