Houston Skilled Consultancy is actively seeking reliable and hardworking Parcel Packing & Sorting Operators to join logistics teams across the UK. Your primary responsibility will be to support the seamless movement of parcels through accurate sorting, packing, labeling, and dispatching at high-paced fulfillment centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently sort and organize parcels based on destination and delivery schedules

  • Pack items securely following company and client-specific packaging protocols

  • Operate scanning and labeling equipment to ensure accurate tracking

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas

  • Perform quality control checks to detect and report damaged or incorrect items

  • Collaborate with other warehouse operatives and supervisors to meet daily targets

  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report any incidents immediately

  • Support loading/unloading of goods from delivery vehicles if required

  • Keep updated records using basic data entry systems and warehouse software

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written)

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately

  • Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Good time management and organizational abilities

  • Willingness to work shifts and adapt to changing schedules

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (training provided, if necessary)

Experience

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center is desirable but not essential

  • Full training will be provided for candidates without experience

Working Hours

  • Full-time position (40–48 hours/week)

  • Flexible shifts including early morning, late evening, night, and weekend schedules
