Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is hiring compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Attendants to support hospital staff and assist patients with their daily needs. You will work in a hospital environment, helping patients with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and basic comfort while ensuring safety and emotional well-being. Candidates can choose between day and night shifts based on availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily personal hygiene including bathing, grooming, and toileting

  • Help with feeding patients and ensuring they take medications as per instructions

  • Assist in patient mobility: turning, lifting, repositioning, and transporting patients safely

  • Change bed linens, clean patient areas, and maintain hygiene and comfort

  • Monitor patient behavior and physical condition and report changes to nursing staff

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients

  • Respond to call bells and attend to patient needs promptly

  • Support hospital staff with basic clinical and administrative tasks as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: 10th/12th Pass (Any Stream)

  • Basic knowledge of patient hygiene and handling

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols

  • Good communication skills in English or local language

  • Physically fit and comfortable with long hours of standing or movement

  • Empathetic, patient, and trustworthy attitude

Experience

  • No prior experience required – freshers are welcome

  • Previous experience in patient care or healthcare support will be an added advantage

  • On-the-job training will be provided

Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts available:

    • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

    • Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

  • Rotational shifts and weekend duty may be required based on hospital scheduling

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of patient care practices and hygiene standards

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergencies

  • Team player with a professional and respectful demeanor

  • Basic understanding of infection control and health safety practices

  • Capability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient needs
