Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support daily operations at a busy and reputable medical store. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or entry-level candidates who are passionate about healthcare and customer service. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists, organizing inventory, and ensuring smooth service to patients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the pharmacist in dispensing and packing prescriptions accurately.

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries and provide basic information on over-the-counter (OTC) medications.

  • Maintain cleanliness, stock arrangement, and labeling in the pharmacy.

  • Manage and update stock levels and report shortages or expired items.

  • Help in billing and managing transactions using a POS system.

  • Support the pharmacist in maintaining patient records and inventory logs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+2 (High School) pass; Diploma in Pharmacy is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of medical terms and common drugs (training will be provided).

  • Good communication skills in English and local language.

  • Ability to manage time and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to learn and follow pharmacy procedures.

Experience

  • Freshers are welcome and will receive on-the-job training.

  • Prior experience in a pharmacy or retail medical store is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours

  • Full-time or Part-time shifts available.

  • Flexible shift options: Morning, Afternoon, or Evening (typically 8-hour shifts).

  • Weekend and holiday shifts may be required on a rotation basis.
