Amazon is re-imagining the advertising landscape through advanced generative AI technologies, and they are seeking a Principal PMT for their Sponsored Products and Brands team. The role involves leading product strategy and execution for a new product that connects content creators with advertisers, maximizing earnings and performance while navigating the complexities of multi-sided marketplaces.


Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and execution for an exciting new product at the intersection of advertising and creator commerce
  • Work directly with commerce-related content creators—both publishers and social media influencers—to build products that connect them with advertisers in ways that maximize their earnings while delivering measurable, best-in-class performance for brands
  • Define the product vision and roadmap for how Amazon Ads enables advertisers to reach high-intent shoppers through trusted creator content—across storefronts, social posts, articles, and affiliate links
  • Own the end-to-end experience: how advertisers discover, fund, and measure creator placements; how creators surface and monetize sponsored products; and how the underlying systems match the right products to the right creators to maximize conversion
  • Make high-judgment tradeoffs between creator experience and advertiser ROI, define the metrics that matter, and set the standard for how Amazon thinks about creator-powered advertising at scale

Skills

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience technical product management
  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Experience in an online advertising role and have familiarity with advertising products and ad serving technologies
