We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager – Custom Integration to help expand our presence within the residential and commercial integration market. This position may be performed remotely for qualified candidates located in strategic markets.

Position Summary

As a Custom Integration Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and serving as a trusted advisor to integrators, dealers, and technology professionals throughout your assigned territory. You will identify opportunities, recommend solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a consultative sales environment and has a passion for technology, smart home solutions, audio/video systems, networking, security, and automation products.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase sales and market share.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing Custom Integration customers.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through calls, virtual meetings, networking, and industry events.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions both virtually and in person.
  • Provide consultative recommendations based on customer needs and project requirements.
  • Partner with Strategic Sales Managers, vendor representatives, and internal support teams to maximize customer success.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and competitive offerings.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within company systems.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Travel within the assigned territory for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in outside sales, account management, business development, or customer relationship management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Custom Integration, Pro AV, Consumer Electronics, Security, Networking, or Smart Home industries.
  • Knowledge of products such as audio/video systems, networking equipment, surveillance, access control, home automation, or structured wiring.
  • Existing relationships within the integrator, dealer, or contractor community.
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems.
