Are you a PhD level scientist that wants to learn more about business and digital marketing while working from home?

Supreme Optimization is hiring a full-time Scientific Digital Marketing Strategist to join our remote Paid Advertising team. This role is designed specifically for scientists who want to apply their analytical skills, domain expertise, and curiosity to digital marketing. No prior digital marketing experience is required, we provide full training.

Role Title: Strategist - Paid Advertising

Mission of the role: To create and manage data-driven paid advertising strategies for life science companies that generate qualified leads and meaningful conversions, while serving as a trusted strategic partner to clients.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Develop paid advertising strategies aligned with client goals and scientific audiences
  • Conduct keyword research and audience research for life science products and services
  • Build, launch, optimize, and manage campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, X, Reddit, and programmatic channels
  • Continuously analyze performance data and implement optimizations to improve results

Client Management & Communication

  • Lead monthly client meetings to review performance, insights, and recommendations
  • Respond to client questions and provide clear, thoughtful guidance
  • Prepare polished client presentation decks summarizing results and next steps

Collaboration

  • Work closely with designers to develop compelling social and display ad creative
  • Collaborate with internal team members to share insights, improve processes, and elevate campaign quality

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Audience targeting research and campaign setup for new digital advertising accounts
  • Ongoing optimization of existing paid advertising campaigns
  • Campaign builds and edits using industry-standard advertising tools
  • Performance analysis and reporting
  • Client-facing presentations and strategy discussions
  • Cross-functional collaboration with design and strategy teammates
  • Bringing creative thinking to campaign structure, messaging, and optimization

Mandatory Skills:

  • Scientific background with a PhD in a life science field, such as Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Cellular Biology, Neuroscience, Microbiology, or Immunology (Not accepting degrees in math, physics, engineering, or astronomy).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and building professional relationships
  • Curious, analytical thinker with a creative problem-solving mindset
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
