As a Security Screening Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safety at our park while gaining invaluable security experience and enjoying rewarding benefits. Your primary responsibilities will include managing guest access and conducting thorough screenings to protect both our guests and employees.</p><p><b>Pay Starting at $16.00/Hour</b></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Engage with guests while providing directions and assistance.</li><li>Ensure the safety of employees, guests, and company property.</li><li>Manage park access by checking vehicle permits and scanning ID badges of team members, vendors, and contractors.</li><li>Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas.</li><li>Welcome and screen individuals at entry points, utilizing metal detectors and inspecting bags for prohibited items.</li><li>Monitor all park areas for potential safety hazards, including fire, theft, and vandalism.</li><li>Document incidents with detailed reports, including damages and security records.</li><li>Apprehend violators when necessary, including pursuing on foot.</li><li>Provide escort services for guests and team members as required.</li><li>Enforce all security policies effectively.</li><li>Assist in various functions within the Security Department as needed.</li></ul><p>You may also be asked to perform other incidental duties as required.</p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Professional demeanor and positive interaction skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Reliable and cautious nature.</li><li>Ability to remain composed in emergency situations.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Dedicated to maintaining a safe environment.</li><li>Must be at least 16 years of age.</li><li>Capable of lifting, carrying, and balancing heavy loads.</li><li>Physically qualified to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Able to communicate effectively in English, including reading, speaking, and understanding.</li><li>Meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations, such as walking long distances and standing for extended periods.</li></ul>
