Social Media Content Creator – Part-Time for Students

Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and digitally savvy Social Media Content Creator (Part-Time) to join our remote team. This role is perfect for students who are passionate about content creation, social media trends, and building brand engagement online. You will help conceptualize, design, and publish content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Your ideas will directly contribute to the voice and reach of the companys brand in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging content (posts, stories, videos, reels) aligned with the brands tone and objectives.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns and weekly content calendars.

  • Monitor trending topics, hashtags, and challenges to produce timely and relevant content.

  • Edit images, videos, and reels using tools like Canva, CapCut, or InShot.

  • Schedule and publish content on various platforms using tools like Buffer or Meta Business Suite.

  • Track analytics to evaluate content performance and suggest improvements.

  • Respond to comments, DMs, and community engagement activities on assigned platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written communication and visual storytelling skills.

  • A good eye for design, layout, and video aesthetics.

  • Active user of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

  • Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, CapCut, InShot).

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow brand guidelines.

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and content strategy is a plus.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in creating content for personal or brand pages is preferred but not mandatory.
