The ideal candidate will have experience developing medium-to-high complexity products and providing critical production support. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Software Engineer to apply their skills in the Life Science industry; no biology background is required.</p> <p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Design & Strategy:</strong> Perform system analysis, assess risk, provide time estimations, and develop technical design and implementation strategies.</li> <li><strong>Development:</strong> Write code and unit tests for Natera’s custom Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other software components.</li> <li><strong>Code Quality & Collaboration:</strong> Conduct code reviews and collaborate closely with developers, quality engineers, and product managers across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality.</li> <li><strong>Troubleshooting:</strong> Debug and perform root cause analysis for product defects and issues, as well as production support.</li> <li><strong>Requirements Alignment:</strong> Partner with product owners and users to define requirements, transforming them into reliable, extensible, and operations-friendly features.</li> <li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Create and maintain comprehensive software specifications based on defined requirements.</li> <li><strong>Compliance:</strong> This role regularly involves Protected Health Information (PHI).
