Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a talented and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our growing digital team. This fully remote role is perfect for a creative thinker who can transform ideas into intuitive, user-centric designs for both mobile and web platforms. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our digital products, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design user interfaces for mobile and web applications from concept to final hand-off to engineering.

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and visual designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to refine design decisions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and marketing to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience.

  • Ensure consistency in visual elements and create a style guide for company-wide implementation.

  • Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously enhance the design process.

  • Optimize UI designs for performance and accessibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.

  • Experience with HTML/CSS and a basic understanding of front-end development workflows.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong eye for visual composition and layout.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote working environment.

Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design with a solid portfolio of design projects for both mobile and web platforms.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.

  • Prior experience in designing for SaaS or tech startups is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours with a focus on overlapping at least 4 hours with GMT or EST time zones.
