Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are looking for steady employment with day and/or night shift flexibility. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, label, and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring quality and accuracy.

  • Operate handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts – training provided if required).

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety across all warehouse zones.

  • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.

  • Work collaboratively with team members and follow supervisor instructions.

  • Adhere to company policies, health and safety procedures, and shift schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic understanding of written and verbal English instructions.

  • Physically fit – able to lift, carry, and move stock (within health and safety limits).

  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

  • A team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.

Experience

  • No prior warehouse experience required — full training provided.

  • Prior experience in logistics, packaging, or warehouse roles will be an advantage.

  • Familiarity with handheld scanners or inventory systems is beneficial but not mandatory.

Working Hours

  • Flexible scheduling with options for:

    • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

    • Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

  • Weekday and weekend availability preferred.

  • Full-time and part-time roles available based on your availability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols (preferred, not essential).

  • Ability to remain focused and productive during long shifts.

  • Capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to follow operational instructions with minimal supervision.
