Houston Skilled Consultancy is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative – General Duties & Inventory Support to join our growing logistics and supply chain support team. This role is vital in maintaining the accuracy of inventory, efficient stock movement, and overall organization of the warehouse. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily general warehouse duties including unloading, sorting, picking, and packing goods.

  • Support accurate inventory counts and stock level adjustments using handheld scanners or manual logs.

  • Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are checked, verified, and recorded correctly.

  • Assist with labeling, shelving, and organizing inventory items in designated locations.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor.

  • Work in compliance with safety guidelines and company procedures.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

  • Report damaged or missing inventory and assist in stock discrepancy investigations.

  • Support stock replenishment and returns processing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 kg as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in stock handling.

  • Good numeracy and basic computer skills for data entry and inventory checks.

  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently or as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with warehouse processes and equipment is advantageous.

Experience

  • Previous experience in warehouse, stockroom, or inventory-related roles is desirable but not mandatory.

  • On-the-job training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts available: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Night Shifts.

  • Weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on demand.
