Are you passionate about virtual reality (VR) gaming? Do you have experience working in content creation as either a successful creator yourself or as a channel manager working closely with creators? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! VAL, a leading VR gaming marketing firm, is seeking to expand our VAL Uprising team by bringing on a Creator Manager to help provide career management services and to generally help support the growth of creators we work closely with. We are looking for someone with the skills to nurture creator careers and a heart for creator welfare and growth. This role is for a six-month contract initially with the possibility to extend based on program success. In this role you will meet regularly with creators (both full time and those prioritizing a transition to full time) and work with other VAL Uprising team members to help prioritize supporting the goals and success of the creators we work with. We’re looking for someone who can provide mentorship around socials, thumbnails, coordinate editing services, and provide guidance to creators on trends and platforms. Additionally, in this role you will play a critical role in protecting, enhancing, and growing the VAL Uprising brand as the premier place for VR creators through helping to implement and support team strategy around retention and expansion. Key Responsibilities: · Lead small team that works closely with VAL Uprising creators to help provide career and content strategy guidance. · Coordinate with internal editing team to provide timely editing services to creators on mostly short form content. · Collaborate with sales team to identify potential brand deals for creators. · Identify and mitigate risks proactively, addressing any challenges that arise during interactions with both creators and clients. · Mentor and support your team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. · Continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the board. · Champion open communication and teamwork, ensuring a culture where ideas flourish and innovation thrives. Requirements: · Experience working in content creation either as a successful content creator yourself or channel manager for creators. · An understanding of the metrics contributing to creator success. · Skills and comfort negotiating on behalf of creators with large brands. · Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. · Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. · Availability to work between 9 AM and 5 PM EST, with flexibility as needed.
