SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Qlik Developer to join our team supporting the Department of Education's (DoED) Federal Student Aid (FSA) Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services (CPSS) in Washington, DC. We're looking for someone who will play a key role in designing and delivering dynamic dashboards and integrated data solutions for our customer. This position goes beyond building charts—it's about transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive mission success. This is a remote position. Responsibilities: • Application Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance Qlik Sense applications and dashboards based on business requirements. • Data Modeling: Design and create data models to support effective data analysis and visualization. • Testing and validation of data inputs • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Qlik Sense applications. • Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance and security of Qlik Sense applications, maintaining data accuracy and reliability. • User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, helping them understand and effectively use the applications. • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to application development and data processes. Required Qualifications: • Must be able to obtain a DoED Level 6C High Risk/Public Trust Security Clearance. • Bachelor's degree degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. • 1-3 years of experience as a Qlik Sense Developer or in a similar BI/DW role. • Strong knowledge of Qlik Sense system administration, dashboard development, and data modeling. • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle). • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights and effective dashboards. • Proficiency with data modeling best practices (star schema, incremental loads, mapping tables). • Experience optimizing performance in large or complex dashboards. • Excellent communication skills to convey technical insights and interpret data reports for clients. Strong problem-solving abilities and a good understanding of business processes. • Must be a U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications: • Active Top Secret security clearance. • Qlik Certification • Experience with federal data systems or large-scale enterprise data environments. • Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and REST-based integrations. • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Prior experience training end-users or creating reusable dashboard templates.
