Role Summary This part‑time, fully remote position is designed for a data‑savvy professional with a passion for health‑care analytics. Reporting to the Chief of Clinical Data Science , you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including clinical researchers, biopharma partners, and data engineering specialists—to design, execute, and communicate robust RWE studies. Key Responsibilities Data Extraction & Normalization Mine raw data collections from internal arenaflex databases and licensed external platforms, transform them into analysis‑ready patient cohorts, and ensure consistent data definitions across studies. Collaborative Insight Generation Partner with arenaflex Clinical Research colleagues and external biopharma sponsors to translate real‑world data into meaningful insights for therapeutic areas, disease states, and health‑economic outcomes. Data Lake Management Clean, curate, and store data in a structured data lake, enabling downstream analytics and fostering a culture of data reuse across the organization. Advanced Analytics & Modeling Conduct statistical mining and factual analysis of RWE/RWD, applying techniques such as regression, propensity scoring, survival analysis, and machine‑learning algorithms to uncover patterns in patient populations and treatment outcomes. Methodology Development Uphold and evolve best‑in‑class RWE methodologies, integrating emerging analytical tools and platforms to address complex scientific questions from biopharma partners. Study Design & Execution Contribute to the planning and operationalization of outcomes research studies, ensuring rigorous protocol development, data capture, and quality control. Quality Assurance Deliver high‑quality, reproducible, and timely deliverables, including dashboards, technical reports, and executive‑level presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Vendor & Data Source Evaluation Perform due‑diligence on new real‑world data vendors, assess data quality, and recommend strategic data acquisition decisions. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, or related field). Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience with R, Python, or SQL for data manipulation and statistical analysis. Demonstrated ability to design and execute robust, reproducible analyses focused on disease epidemiology and observational research using health‑care data.
