This role will be located in <b>Manhattan Beach, CA, Roy, UT, or Huntsville, AL</b> and supports the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division Engineering organization. In this role, the selected leader will be responsible for establishing and driving common engineering processes, tools, and technical developmental and training resources in support of engineering employees and managers across the Division portfolio. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.</p><p>Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.</p><p><b>What you will get to do:</b></p><ul><li>Lead and direct an experienced and technically diverse engineering team responsible for planning, organizing, developing and managing the engineering processes that govern system development and sustainment across the SDS program portfolio</li></ul><ul><li>Accountable for assessment, consolidation, and development of common processes and trainings across all engineering disciplines in the Division.</li><li>Manage engineering tools and applications and develop the necessary engineering support team to sustain and evolve capabilities.</li><li>Coordinate with the broader Sector, Company, academia and industry to identify and leverage existing tools and practices and supplement as needed to provide applicable solutions to sustainably address Division requirements.</li><li>Ensure horizontally integrated and consistent expectation, development, and assessment of skill competencies across the Engineering disciplines within the Division. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.</p><p></p><p><b>You’ll Bring These Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with at least 10 years of engineering experience</li><li>Minimum 3 years of formal leadership experience for multi-discipline engineering populations and teams</li><li>Experienced in product development life cycle and interactions among engineering disciplines</li><li>Experience with model-based engineering methods and tools</li><li>Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret clearance</li><li>Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance</li></ul><p><b>These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:</b></p><ul><li>Master's degree or higher in engineering or related scientific discipline</li><li>Experience standing up an organization and/or leading a major change initiative</li><li>Active Top Secret clearance</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>Primary Level Salary Range: $193,800.00 - $336,500.00<p></p><p></p>The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.<p></p><p></p>Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
