Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Recruiter - Remote position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH. This is a 3+ month contract opportunity.

Pay range:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour

The Senior Recruiter reports to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead and is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of professional recruiting for the Investment Banking & Capital Markets teams. This includes developing and executing strategic recruiting plans through research, sourcing, candidate assessment, offer negotiation, and closing new hires. This role serves as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, leveraging market insights to guide talent decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic consultant to senior leaders and HR partners, using business and market insights to develop targeted recruiting plans
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts including search strategy, sourcing, assessment, interviewer preparation, feedback synthesis, reference checks, and offer negotiation
  • Ensure consistent, proactive communication with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates
  • Prioritize work effectively, anticipate challenges, and adjust plans to meet hiring goals
  • Use passive and direct sourcing techniques to build a strong talent pipeline
  • Assess candidates rigorously and provide informed hiring recommendations
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential candidates
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform talent strategies
  • Collaborate with Compensation Managers and HR partners to manage offer negotiations
  • Partner with Legal to navigate restrictive covenants and ensure compliance
  • Oversee reference and background checks for final candidates
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Leverage online resources and professional networks to identify and engage talent
  • Represent the company's brand, culture, and values to external candidates
  • Support internal talent movement and onboarding processes
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including search firms and contract researchers
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition peers to share insights and best practices
  • Manage an average of 20–25 searches and projects concurrently
  • Build strong partnerships across HR and other Centers of Excellence
  • Stay current on recruiting best practices and business strategies
  • Participate in relevant meetings, initiatives, and projects
  • Ensure compliance with all Talent Acquisition policies and risk requirements
  • Leverage AI and other technology to work efficiently
  • Influence hiring decisions with data-driven insights

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of professional experience in Recruiting or Human Resources, including 2 years in full lifecycle recruitment

Desired skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, or related field
  • Experience in investment banking and/or capital markets
  • Strategic Consulting: Ability to advise senior leaders using market insights to shape recruiting strategies and talent decisions
  • Full Lifecycle Recruiting: Expertise in managing end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, assessment, and offer negotiation
  • Candidate Assessment: Skill in evaluating candidates rigorously and making informed hiring recommendations
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build long-term relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners
  • Market Research: Capability to analyze industry trends and inform workforce planning and talent strategies
  • Offer Negotiation: Experience collaborating with Compensation and Legal teams to manage complex offer packages and compliance
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple searches and recruiting projects concurrently while meeting deadlines
  • Communication & Influence: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage senior stakeholders and influence hiring decisions
  • Digital Fluency: Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, online sourcing tools, and emerging technologies including AI and automation to enhance recruiting efficiency
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Experience mentoring junior recruiters and collaborating across HR and Talent Acquisition teams to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
