We're partnering with a leading technology company focused on guest support experiences across their vacation brands, to find a talented Systems Engineer. This is a Hyrbid Contract role, located in Orlando, FL, offering an exciting opportunity to lead critical platform projects and optimize performance. Onsite 4 days in Orlando, FL. *Systems Engineer Responsibilities:* * Independently own and maintain the Zendesk platform, ensuring system availability, security, and compliance for a large support team. * Design, develop, and implement complex integrations and customizations using Zendesk APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Liquid. * Lead the planning and execution of platform upgrades, migrations, and feature deployments from requirements gathering through post-launch support. * Develop and refine workflows, triggers, automations, SLAs, and routing rules to streamline support operations. * Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution efforts to maintain platform reliability, while communicating effectively with various stakeholders. *Systems Engineer Qualifications:* * Over 5 years of hands-on experience managing and developing within Zendesk, owning production platforms with minimal oversight. * Expertise in Zendesk APIs, custom app and theme development, and creating robust integration solutions. * Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Liquid for platform customization. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions independently. * Knowledge of analytics/reporting in Zendesk, including custom dashboards and data modeling. *Perks and Benefits:* * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. * Life Insurance. * 401(k) Program. * Commuter Benefit. * eLearning and Ongoing Training. * Education Reimbursement.
