Job Description GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Perform contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with corporate and/or business unit guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for contract correspondence, organization of contract records, and timely submittal of contract documentation.
  • Acts as Gichner Shelter Systems agent in signing contract within set dollar limitations.
  • Communicate contractual requirements to the internal functional team.
  • Acts as facilitator in internal and external meetings.
  • Directs invoicing of contract data items and milestone billings.
  • Responsible for contract close-out.
  • Initiates warranties and claims investigation.
  • Provides support to Contract Managers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Experience And Skills KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 Year college/University degree in Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of related experience required.
WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Office environment.
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
