Strategic Account Executive – DoD / Government / DARPA / IARPA / Special Programs Keysight Technologies – Strategic Portfolio Accounts (SPA) Sales Organization This is an exciting opportunity to join Keysight’s Strategic Portfolio Accounts (SPA) Sales team at the forefront of our enterprise software strategy.

As a Strategic Account Executive (SAE), you will lead sales adoption, retention, and expansion of Keysight EDA software solutions within the U.S. Department of Defense, Aerospace, and related government research communities.

In this highly strategic role, you will work directly with government agencies, federally funded R&D organizations, SMB federal partners, and major Defense Prime contractors to drive mission‑aligned technology adoption. You will collaborate closely with customers to deliver an integrated Customer Experience, ensuring long‑term success and measurable outcomes with Keysight solutions.

The DoD / Government / DARPA / IARPA / Special Programs business is responsible for securing R&D‑focused engagements that grow Keysight’s footprint across critical federal sectors. This position is a key contributor within the Keysight DES, EDA, and Enterprise Sales organization and requires strong business acumen, technical fluency, and a proven ability to execute within complex government environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pursue and secure new business opportunities across U.S. Government agencies including DoD, DARPA, IARPA, and other advanced research organizations.
  • Engage with direct government entities, SMB partners, and Defense Primes to position, develop, and win R&D programs and long‑term technology initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the full opportunity lifecycle—qualification through contract execution—collaborating with executive leadership, business development, project management, and R&D teams.
  • Oversee complex, multi‑year programs involving advanced research initiatives and emerging technology development.
  • Build and sustain deep relationships across government organizations to align Keysight solutions with evolving mission requirements.
  • Maintain expert understanding of federal funding cycles, acquisition pathways, contract structures, and program management processes.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy that enables long‑term adoption and deployment of Keysight EDA software solutions.
  • Drive expansion of Keysight solutions within government design flows, particularly across DoD branches and Aerospace & Defense Prime contractors.
  • Deliver measurable customer value by understanding key performance indicators and aligning Keysight solutions to mission outcomes.
  • Demonstrate foundational product and industry knowledge to discuss customer goals, design workflows, and technical requirements.
