About the position

Responsible for the strategic and operational management of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Enterprise Integrations (EI), QAD, Plex and other non-SAP ERP systems across the organization. Lead, mentor, and promote the continuous learning and professional development of a global team of EDI, EI and ERP professionals. Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members. Promote professional development and continuous learning within the team. Serve as the primary escalation point for non-SAP ERP application-related inquiries and issues. Ensure the team provides expert-level support and solutions for QAD and Plex ERP systems. Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in QAD and Plex ERP systems. Oversee the integration of enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency within the automotive supply chain. Provide strategic direction and technical expertise for EI initiatives. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in enterprise integration, especially within the automotive industry. Manage and optimize EDI processes to ensure efficient and accurate data exchange with global OEMs and other automotive partners. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for EDI. Troubleshoot and promptly resolve EDI-related issues. Own and manage the EI and EDI functions across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and maintain robust solution architectures that support and enhance business processes. Conduct regular reviews and audits of EI and EDI systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance. Oversee the governance framework for managed services, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Manage relationships with external vendors, assist contract negotiation, and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal performance. Implement and maintain governance processes to ensure the integrity and security of ERP systems. Provide strategic direction and application expertise for EDI/EI, ERP-related projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. Develop and maintain robust solution architectures that support and enhance business processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement ERP solutions that drive business value. Analyze and identify opportunities for process improvements and ERP enhancements. Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption of new ERP functionalities. Develop and execute change management plans, including communication, training, and support strategies. Oversee the management of EDI/EI, ERP licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and optimizing license usage to control costs. Conduct regular audits of ERP licenses to ensure accurate tracking and reporting. Prepare and maintain IT General Controls (ITGC) to ensure compliance and readiness for internal and external audits. Collaborate with audit teams to address any findings and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a closely-related degree field.
  • Ten (10) years of experience as Applications Engineer, Applications Developer, IT Supervisor, or IT Manager.
  • Experience in global OEM EDI systems, EI and non-SAP ERP application services.
  • Five (5) years of the required experience must have involved leading or managing global IT teams.
  • Five (5) years of the required experience must have included overseeing ERP transformation and IT program launches.
