How you’ll make an impact As a Product Manager on our Content and Creators team, you'll participate in the prevention of fraudulent listening from occurring on SiriusXM and Pandora. You will also work closely on the creation of compelling and easy to use experiences for thousands of creators, which ultimately impact millions of listeners and customers. You'll work closely with product designers, product analysts, other product managers, and leadership to bring differentiated creator products and features to market, prioritize improvements, and measure success. You will have the opportunity to build and deliver features, experiments, and process improvements, and will have exposure across the digital product development organization. Content Supply Chain, Stations, Tools, & Creators Product Team The Content Supply Chain, Stations, Tools, & Creators product team builds and maintains the systems that process music content delivered by creators, analyze and categorize that content, and provide tools to enable the delivery of content to listeners via editorial and algorithmic recommendations. We provide the AMP web application for creators and their teams to submit companion content such as artist images and reach their listeners via campaigns and programs. We offer a suite of reporting and analytics tools and data feeds that help creators understand their audience on SiriusXM and Pandora. Finally, we implement countermeasures against spam content and fraudulent streaming, as well as a mix of human and machine-learning analysis to gain greater content understanding. What you’ll do Support the Senior Manager in delivering results in detecting fraudulent streaming and mitigating its harmful impacts on the platform. Manage the day-to-day product life cycle various projects within the Streaming Fraud and Creator Tools product areas coordinate research and discovery efforts, author product strategy and product requirements documents, and oversee go-to-market operations Respond to existing insights or internal metrics to drive product decisions and prioritize work. Use data to tell a story, gain buy-in, and create excitement. Build relationships with SiriusXM’s expert designers, product managers, analysts, scientists, engineers, sellers, operations managers, and musicologists to drive ideas from concept to market. What you’ll need Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred 3+ years of professional work experience 1+ years in Product Management of consumer digital / software products, or strong Product Management internship experience Streaming media experience a big plus Knowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum software development methodologies Ability to drive decisions and work from a "user-first" standpoint, balancing technical constraints with the goal of creating a superior User Experience for SiriusXM's subscribers Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels Good public speaking and presentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Data-driven, able to gather & distill data and learnings in order to drive continuous product iteration and improvements Ability to prioritize cross-initiative requirements in service of organizational goals Willingness to take initiative, navigate independently through ambiguity, follow through, and drive projects to completion Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must have legal right to work in the U.S. At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $95,000 to $143,450 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
