Systems Engineer, Channels The Channel SE provides technical subject matter expertise in support of Extreme Networks Partners. They are responsible for developing and maintaining the technical competency of partners through training, demos, presentations, and consultation. Must be a self-starter with a business minded approach to enabling the partner. They must be able to convey the benefits and details of Extreme’s offerings to Partners in such a way that each Partner can successfully sell on their own. Additionally, the Channel SE will provide account support for customer opportunities being driven by the Partner. Channel SEs should possess strong skills in: conveying complex concepts, presenting, consultative selling, and network design. They should also demonstrate: willingness to learn, independent drive, resourcefulness, collaboration, and flexibility. 3-5 Key Responsibilities (What does a day in the life look like?) Partner training Partner led designs/BoMs Regular updates to Partners on the latest and greatest at Extreme Support of Partner sponsored events Internal SME engagement to maintain skillset Measure of Success- Partner growth, enablement and Pipeline creation What will this role not be responsible for? This role does not require you to conduct certification trainings, customer post- sales support duties or other duties of the assigned Partner SE. This role focuses primarily on partner enablement.
