Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data models and analytical solutions
  • Build and manage semantic datasets to support consistent and reliable reporting
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment of KPIs across reports
  • Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and documentation (data definitions, lineage)
  • Optimize report performance through efficient data modeling, DAX, and query tuning
  • Apply BI engineering best practices (version control, structured deployment, environment management)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to deliver actionable insights
  • Support users by troubleshooting issues, resolving data discrepancies, and improving usability
  • Monitor dashboard usage and continuously enhance solutions based on feedback

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field
  • 4–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Proven track record of delivering production-grade dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric is an advantage)
  • Basic knowledge of Python (e.g., pandas, numpy) is a plus
  • Understanding of data analysis concepts (trend analysis, forecasting, data validation)
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
