The Incumbent is responsible for the boutique that is assigned to them and is accountable for the boutique’s performance in the following key areas

SALES

  • responsible for the monthly sales performance of their respective boutique, and is expected to achieve a positive growth in the sales against last year where possible.
  • required to understand their merchandise assortment, performance and level in detail.
  • responsible to provide quick, and attentive service to customers by assessing their needs and provide assistance, including all after sales services provided by the Company.
STAFF
  • responsible for the training and development of each of their staff under their care, providing timely and effective performance feedback, ensuring that their staff is successful at performing their duties.
  • responsible for providing a safe working and shopping environment for both their staff, and the customers, upholding excellent customer service by following all safety policies and standard operations procedure, completing specified training, immediately communicating and reporting any irregularities to the Area Manager.
STOCKS
  • to have a firm grasp on the knowledge of the products and services offered, providing information on product features, and knowing related items to sell.
  • responsible for the stock placed at the boutique they are assigned to, and is expected to keep losses to a minimum.
  • work closely with their Area Manager and the Merchandising team to ensure that the stock is always at a healthy level.
GENERAL
  • to adhere strictly to the working schedule, and time set by the Area Manager.
  • to create a monthly working schedule for the boutique, ensuring optimal coverage during boutique business hours.
  • responsible for generating all boutique related reports, and ensure that submission of the reports is as per timeline set by their respective Area Manager.
  • to understand in detail, all boutique related reports.
  • to be present for every Managers Meeting held in HQ or otherwise specified.
  • responsible for the Visual Merchandising standards of the boutique, working closely with their boutique’s Visual Specialist to ensure execution of VM is optimal.
  • responsible for the overall boutique condition, including the overall cleanliness and appearance of the boutique.
  • work in cooperation with the other managers from another boutique as well as HQ departments, especially when stocks or people movement is directed.
