Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Oversee and review consolidation entries, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany transactions.
  • Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations related to consolidation (e.g., intercompany balances, investments in subsidiaries, etc.).
  • Prepare group-level reports and analyses, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights to management.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for the group audit.
  • Collaborate with subsidiary accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
  • Undertake special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management or business needs.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with experience in group reporting or consolidation preferred. Experience in audit is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting principles.
  • Experience with accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and organised.
