Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Group Reporting Senior Associate to join our finance team. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely group financial reporting for our organisation. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to gather and analyse financial data, prepare reports, and assist in the audit and consolidation process.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Assist with the consolidation process for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions.
  • Prepare detailed analysis of consolidated financial results, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures related to consolidation.
  • Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information.
  • Stay updated on IFRS changes and their impact on group reporting.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in group consolidation and financial reporting, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
