Join Maxis as a Claims Management Intern , where you will gain hands-on experience supporting claims processing, data validation, and regulatory submissions. This role offers exposure to real-world claims management operations, documentation processes, and cross-functional coordination, while working closely with Finance, HR, and regulatory bodies in a structured corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Data & Analysis Support
  • Assist in data extraction, validation, and analysis to support claim preparation activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of claims data through regular checks and reconciliation.
  • Support the preparation of reports and summaries for submission and internal tracking.
  • Documentation & Verification
  • Assist in compiling and organising required documentation for claims submission.
  • Verify supporting documents to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation records for audit and reference purposes.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Support coordination with Finance and HR teams on claim-related processes.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Help ensure timely processing and submission of claims.
  • Regulatory Submission & Reporting
  • Assist in monthly submission and verification activities with
  • Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
  • Support tracking of submission timelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform data validation checks to ensure consistency and accuracy across submissions.
Value-Added Project The Intern Will Have The Opportunity To Participate In a Value-added Project Focused On Improving Claims Management Processes. This May Include
  • Analysing claim data trends and identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Supporting enhancements to reporting and data tracking systems
  • Assisting in improving documentation accuracy and submission efficiency
This project provides practical exposure to operational processes, regulatory compliance, and data management within a corporate environment.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to handle structured data
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and data interpretation skills
  • Attention to detail in data validation and documentation processes
  • Interest in operations, compliance, or regulatory processes is a plus
Soft Skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with cross-functional teams
