About the role

Join United New Materials Technology Sdn Bhd as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer based in Semenyih, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising the performance of critical manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient and reliable production operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing preventative and corrective maintenance programmes to maximise the lifespan and uptime of production equipment

  • Conducting regular inspections, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and control systems

  • Analysing equipment performance data and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

  • Collaborating with the production team to coordinate equipment downtime and minimise disruptions

  • Documenting maintenance activities and preparing detailed reports

  • Providing technical guidance and training to the maintenance team

  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery, control systems and maintenance best practices

  • Proficient in fault diagnosis, root cause analysis and problem-solving

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Hands-on experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
