Responsibilities

  1. Wastewater & Waste Gas Treatment System Performance – Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure compliance with emission limits. Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Analyze operational data and improve efficiency and reliability.
  2. External Communication – Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders. Coordinate environmental reporting and submissions. Support inspections and respond to regulatory inquiries.
  3. System Certification – Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and other standards. Support certification, surveillance, and recertification audits. Maintain documentation and records.
  4. Environmental Management – Comply with local environmental laws and company EHS policies. Identify risks and implement control measures. Support environmental programs, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

1.Education: Bachelor's degree. Chemical engineering or safety-related majors preferred. 2.Experience: 2–5 years in wastewater treatment, environmental engineering, or EHS. Hands-on experience with treatment equipment (neutralization, biological, filtration, chemical dosing, scrubbers, carbon systems) preferred. Knowledge of ISO 14001 and audit experience is a plus.

3.kills: Good understanding of treatment technologies. Knowledge of environmental regulations (especially Malaysian). Ability to analyze system data. Good communication and coordination skills.

4.Others: Certified Environmental Professional (CePIETSO & CePSO) preferred.
