Why does this job exist and why is it critical? Head of Converged will be responsible for defining and executing Maxis Mobile's strategy for converged services, integrating mobile, fixed, and digital solutions to deliver seamless and innovative customer experiences. This role will drive the development, launch, and growth of converged products and services, ensuring market leadership and customer satisfaction. What are you accountable for?
  • Develop and own the overall converged services strategy for Maxis Mobile, identifying market opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Define and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for converged offerings, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and strategic alignment.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of converged products and services, from ideation and concept development to launch, growth, and eventual retirement. Collaborate with engineering, IT, network, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and timely market introduction.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to converged services, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across all touchpoints. Identify and incorporate innovative technologies and solutions to enhance the value proposition of converged offerings.
  • Drive the commercial success of converged services, including pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and performance monitoring. Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities and optimize business performance.
  • Foster strong collaboration across various internal departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Network, IT, Finance) to ensure alignment and effective execution of converged initiatives. Act as a key liaison with external partners and vendors relevant to converged services.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team focused on converged product development and management. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all converged services comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the development and deployment of converged solutions.
What do you need to have for this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field; fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in product strategy, converged services, or telecommunications leadership roles, with Postpaid or Fibre experience.
  • Advanced expertise in product lifecycle management, go-to-market strategy, and customer experience design
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, commercial strategy, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Proven leadership in building and mentoring high-performing teams, with a focus on innovation and regulatory compliance
