Why does this job exist and why is it critical? The Head of Home Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Maxis's home broadband and related services marketing strategies. This role will drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention within the home segment, ensuring Maxis remains a leader in the competitive telecommunications market. What are you accountable for?
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand positioning strategy for Maxis's home product portfolio, ensuring differentiation and resonance with target audiences.
  • Lead the creation and execution of innovative Go-to-Market Strategies for new home broadband products and services, driving successful launches and market penetration.
  • Utilize deep understanding of Broadband Technologies to inform marketing initiatives and communicate value propositions effectively to consumers.
  • Oversee commercialization strategies to maximize revenue and profitability from home offerings, including pricing, packaging, and promotional activities.
  • Drive Customer Lifecycle Management initiatives for the home segment, focusing on acquisition, engagement, and retention through targeted marketing campaigns to foster strong customer relationships and reduce churn within the home base.
  • Conduct in-depth marketing insights analysis to understand market dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior, translating findings into actionable strategies.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction in marketing management for the home division, overseeing budget allocation, campaign execution, and team performance.
  • Manage the Product Portfolio Management for home services to ensure offerings meet market demand.
  • Ensure strong Profitability Management across all home marketing initiatives, optimizing costs and maximizing revenue streams.
  • Cultivate effective stakeholder management with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Network) and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans.
  • Focus on talent development within the home marketing team, mentoring and coaching team members to build a high-performing and engaged workforce to build and lead a high-performance team capable of executing complex marketing strategies and adapting to a rapidly changing market.
What do you need to have for this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in marketing with strong expertise in broadband technologies and home segment strategies
  • Advanced skills in brand positioning, Go-to-Market strategy, and customer lifecycle management
  • Proven experience in product portfolio management, profitability optimization, and stakeholder engagement across internal and external teams
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team development, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making
