What are you accountable for?

  • To drive IoT, M2M connectivity and Mobile Solution strategy from industry/market perspective - identify core proposition across Maxis portfolio of products, identify other potential partners, establish partner commercial engagement framework (e.g. business model, roles and responsibilities, SLAs etc) and deliver on targets meet to IoT Line of Business’ Revenues (i.e. meet Annual Operating Plan targets). (Strategy/ Framework).
  • Lead and drive e-2-e holistic solutions along with internal and external (where necessary) stakeholders to deliver technical solution that meets client expectations, client requirements and addresses concerns; ensuring the proposed solution is fit for purpose with respect to selected industry verticals. (Solution Definition & Delivery).
  • Work with Solution Partners and IoT Product team to gather requirements to enhance Maxis IoT solution offering on a continuous basis and, where bespoke solutions are required, match end-customer needs to available technical solutions, tailoring where necessary including E-2-E rollout of new IoT solution offerings by Maxis. (Proposition Improvement/Solutioning/Product Development) .
  • Ensure delivery of committed projects via end-to-end project monitoring (e.g. from user requirements, associated business justifications, project planning, implementation and go-to-market plans), this could include solution delivery based on B2B customer requirement or management of bid submissions. (Project Delivery/Bid Management).
  • Identify and suggest process improvement(s) where necessary to ensure solution proposition, life-cycle and delivery can provide unique selling proposition (Keep It Simple)
  • As a trusted advisor, deep dive into client area of business from the perspective of, but not limited to, company strategy, financial strength, industry segment technology/IT trends to derive an applicable enterprise architecture aligned to Maxis IOT solution. Subsequently, clearly articulate the detail plan (business and technical) to the client. (Consultative/Advisory)

What do you need to have for this role?

  • Bachelors Degree, specialized in: Engineering (telecommunications, or network related preferred), IT /OT etc.
  • Total Work Experience: 7 to 10 years, with 4 to 6 years relevant experience in wireless telecommunications, IOT, or OT
  • Subject matter expertise & strong telecoms and IOT technical understanding.
  • Good communication, presentation, negotiation and product marketing skills.
  • Has Business Acumen, Experience in managing products through entire life cycle, Strong project management skills.
  • Industry recognised certification is highly recommended; TOGAF, CBAP, CIoTP, ISACA, CCNA, HCIA, AWS/MSFT
