Job Title: Manufacturing APS Engineer Analyst Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia (Hybrid – 50% Office / 50% WFH)

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable up to 3 Years)

Openings: 3

Joining: Immediate to 1 Month (up to 2 Months can be considered)

About the Role We are hiring Manufacturing APS Engineer Analysts for a leading global client in Malaysia. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) systems, manufacturing operations, and business systems analysis.

The selected candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Germany, China, and Malaysia , supporting planning, scheduling, and operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Systems Analyst / Systems Owner for APS applications in a manufacturing environment.
  • Analyze business and factory production requirements and translate them into system/process improvements.
  • Support planning and scheduling operations using APS tools and best practices.
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, engineering, and operational teams to ensure smooth system usage.
  • Liaise with global stakeholders across Germany, China, and Malaysia.
  • Troubleshoot system/process issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between business operations and enterprise manufacturing systems.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Systems Owner.
  • Good understanding of enterprise manufacturing setups, factory operations, and production planning.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business-facing communication skills.
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work with multicultural/global teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to speak Mandarin (preferred due to regular coordination with China teams).
  • Prior experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing industries.
  • Exposure to SAP / ERP / MES integrated environments is an advantage.
Work Location & Flexibility
  • Primary location: Bayan Lepas, Penang.
  • Hybrid work model: 50% office / 50% work from home.
  • Penang-based candidates may work from Georgetown or Kulim office, with visits to Bayan Lepas office when required.
Preference
  • Local Malaysia / Penang-based candidates preferred.
