JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative duty:
a) Report clinical duties to physiotherapist II/ Senior/ Consultant Physiotherapist b) Monitoring the occupational safety and health of clinic staff c) Carry out workplace assessments and on the job training in prevention and management strategies d) Assist in inventory taking and the machine maintenance of the clinic e) Maintain discipline of minor clinic staff f) Report to clinic supervisor in the case of disciplinary issue for the misbehaved staff.

g) Communicate with the management on the clinic issues and discussion the possible solutions h) Develop new ideas for the future of the service and new programmes to improve patient care i) To assess the service gaps in reaching the market and work out the solution to improve them j) Participate in service promotion of the clinic.

  • Clinical duty:
a) Properly maintain the allied health practitioner registration on Malaysia Health Practitioner’s System (MHPS) under Ministry of Health of Malaysia b) Carry out physiotherapy assessment and treatment in clinics, centres, and hospitals under the Company service.

c) Proper use and maintenance of the clinical tools, machines, equipments and exercise equipment with appropriate rational and evidence based for smooth clinical operation, maximal patient’s benefit and safety.

d) Provide evidence-based treatment and management of patients to achieve return to function and work e) Ensure appropriate consents to treat and to report are obtained f) Use outcome measures to demonstrate treatment effect g) Properly and accurately maintenance clinical notes h) Assist in development of Physiotherapy training system and protocol with Senior/ Consultant Physiotherapist i) Onsite coaching of clinical staff/ Physiotherapy students j) Conduct in-service training to clinical staff k) Carry out multi-disciplinary service, refer to other specialist if needed l) To work as an autonomous practitioner, to be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of professional activities m) Communicate with doctors and clients in line with Physiotherapy Matters procedures n) Maintain the professional conducts, see appendix.

o) Maintain evidence of continual professional development

  • Ad-hoc tasks:
a) Perform to tasks or responsibilities assigned by the Superior or Management as needed.

Requirements:

  • Working hours: 5-days week
  • Willing to work in Taman Desa, KL. Travelling is required if needed to support other branches.
