About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor cum contract to join our dynamic team at A GLASS SDN BHD. in Klang, Selangor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and project budgets in compliance with Malaysian standards MS832: 2022 and MS 1017: 2022 in aluminium glazing work.
  • Manage procurement processes and negotiate with suppliers .
  • Monitor project costs and coordinate closely with site teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Assist in contract administration, including handling variations, claims, and final accounts
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide professional advice on contractual and commercial matters related to construction projects.

Requirements

  • Diploma and Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field .
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with relevant working experience will have an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project control techniques.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with guidance when required .
